I had a chili cheese half smoke this weekend at Ben's. Delish.
Given my druthers, on a regular dog, we'd have celery salt, sauerkraut, onions, mustard and a smidge of relish. I want one now!
Miu - aren't you in the land of Zweiglers??? I'll take a white hot please! Or a nathan's would suffice.
The ones in Texas TOTALLY suck. I so miss Hebrew Nationals for lunch on the corner over off of 43rd and Park.
Man!
I'm moving back to NYC right now.
Sawry Miu, I don't know where to get them in DC. Go to a good deli and they will have them.
Today is leftover stir fry - mushrooms, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, yellow and green pepper, onion, chicken, peas and some corn with brown rice. Seasoned with a little soy and chinese five spice powder. I'm cleansing my system.
I'm doing Healthy Choice meal and the back up grapes and yogurt. I'm going for 190lbs!
ooopps .. upstate? That is more whitebread than Sugarland, TX.
Got a salad today, eating at my desk. Busy bee.
Sorry again about yesterday. I was food-poisoned I believe, by my good friend Edie. Somehow the blog skipped my mind as I was dealing with severe stomach pains.
As for weiners, i suppose I prefer the whole brat/sausage thing. In which case it would be JOHNSONVILLE BRATS!!! Good shit
Yummm....beer soaked brawts...
Who am I kidding!!? I put SO much kraut on any sausages in a bun I wouldn't know the difference!!
So Miu, are you saying that PeeP is reading, but not posting?
Interesting.
Word from the Pittsburgh Airport. I lunched on a tall blue moon white ale and an order of, at least they call them, the best wings in the world. Not bad, but not the best wings in the world, those are at the pic-a-lilly in atsion NJ. They give you not the lil' drumstick, or the arm wing and 10 of them. They give you both of them, still connected, and still give you 10 of them. the wings there are the bestest.
I know we're talking about hot dogs, and I can't fathom why there is a discussion, Nathan's hot dogs are the best ones made any where, ever. Well, unless you are talking about hand made dogs. Arbetters in Miami makes their own dogs on site, and I'm sure it's gross in the back where they do it, but out front, they are straight heaven.
HT your peeps put on a good airport. Plus no sales tax on clothing in PA, bonus since pen exploded in the dryer last night, rendering half of my clothing for the 6 week business trip useless.
Yes, we don't do many things well, but we know how to build an airport. Were you at Quaker Steak and Lube, Sunshine? (I forget if there's one of those in the airport, but I think there is)
And, the no sales tax on clothing thing totally rocks. It's the best part about going home. That and Primanti's.
I take my hot dogs [Vienna Beef, by the way] Chicago style, which basically means everything but ketchup. No one does hot dogs better than Chicago. Mustard, onions, relish, pickles, sport peppers, tomatoes, celery salt, sometimes lettuce, on a poppy seed bun. And I eat waaaaaaaaaaay too many of them regularly. Greasy fries and an absurdly large RC as accompaniments are de rigeur.
I had single girl sandwiches for lunch, using honey roasted turkey, turkey pastrami and sharp cheddar. Boring.
I also got oatmeal this morning from ABP. I'd never done this before, but was starving. I'm glad I did. It was yummy, and the whole oatmeal fixin's bar is genius. I will be going back.
psst
shhh...don't tell jo I was here...he'd be soooooo mad.
mustard, dudes. yellow. the rest is good (no ketchup), but it's really just fluff. onions come in a distant distant second.
did you guys know that the word "ketchup" is derived from a mandarin chinese word that means "vinegar sauce." nothing to do with tomatoes. anything mixed with vinegar, like, for instance, mustard seed!! so really, mustard IS ketchup. HOLY FUCKIN' SHIT!!
shhhhhhh
okay...I'm outta here. peace!
Dipso. Nice to see you in bloglandia. Yo, the spicy brown honey mustard we had at Bonnaroo was one of the best stand alone hot dog toppings I have found.
ugh, meetings all day today. it doesn't stop.
had morrocan tuna and arugala on homemade olive bread and dill pickle potato chips. delish.
Hey sunshine...did you happen to leave a request for cheesy poofs the other night??
Missbits, unfortunately I don't know if we're going to get anything on the oatmeal bar. I think Jason's deli has some things but it isn't open in the morning. I pack brown sugar, raisens, and an apple (I slice it at work) with mine.
It is alot of work but well worth it.
Miu, its actually me and you really wanted more dick jokes with your posting today ... lets face it .. fart and dick jokes are always funny.
