so, as i eat a delicious FAS this AM (it's on an asiago bagel instead of croissant!), i am pondering where to have HT take me to lunch. since i've been her sugar mama for the past few days, i figured i'd collect today b/c i know we just got paid. therefore, your suggestions are much appreciated.
also, don't forget to tell us WFL in your neck o' the woods. (also, should i order the lobster???)

Not sure WFL today, hopefully it will involve leaving early. Worked late yesterday. Plus, that lovely storm kept me up last night from 12am-2am with those nice thunder claps every 20 seconds. What was UP with that shit?

SugarMama HT is in full effect this weekend. Not only will I hit LC back for her generosity this week, but I have promised _____ that this weekend is on me. Owe, and I need to finally pay off LT.

I'm starving - and also going out for lunch. Looking up things in Clarendon, b/c my friend will be bringing his car & I'm bored with everything in the direct vicinity. I'm thinking maybe Harry's Tap Room or Faccia Luna . . . .
I always used to freeze up a little when it's free lunch. Obviously, there's a part of me that wanted to take advantage of the windfall, but I didn't want to look like I'm TAKING ADVANTAGE of it. In the past few years, however, I have learned the secret is to order what I want for lunch. That way, everyone is happy. Unless, of course, what I happen to want for lunch is the most expensive thing on the menu. But, I'm kind of white trash so that rarely happens.
For lunch today, I'm having a big cup of coffee. I just had a late breakfast with my mom, and it was eggs and sausage and all sorts of tasty southern fried potatoes and biscuits. Based on the cholesterol number on the report of my blood work last week, I could probably stand to miss a meal today. (I probably could have gone for the Egg Beaters, too, but to hell with that.)
I got a chicken caesar salad from my pita place on my way to work this morning. I didn't get caesar dressing though and the dude forgot to give me the little baggie of croutons that usually come with it. So I guess technically it's not a caesar anymore, just romaine lettuce with chicken and parm cheese with lemon-herb dressing. Hmmm...now I am a bit disappointed.
I'm about to bust outta work, and either get lunch on the way home, or eat the rest of my Edie Cafe General Tso's Shrimp.

The food is delivered FAST, but its not particularly good, but did I mention the food comes FAST. Comes faster than a 15 year-old virgin.
I took LC to Lindy's for a "healthy" lunch. We had "salads." Why the quotes, you ask? Because it had fried chicken and bacon on it and was delicious. Oh, and I had a beer.

That sumbitch'll deliver food you didn't even know you wanted yet. The first time I called him, he was at my door in 17 minutes. That's service, my friends. I'm willing to forgive a whole hell of a lot of lacking quality for someone who can turn my order around to my door before the second commercial break.

Today was a packed lunch with a soda at Riva's
So we wound up going to Harry's Tap Room & had a nice time. I haven't seen him in a few weeks & I was kind of tipsy (HH@BB), so I didn't retain a lot of what we talked about that time. So lunch was: 1/2 ham & swiss sandwich on marble rye - melty, yum - plus a cup of red pepper crab soup - spicy! - plus a side chopped salad - blue cheesy! - all for $9.95. Not a bad lunch. Tasty. Am in a food coma now . . . yawn.
yes, i had HT buy me a salad. she was lucky since i wasn't very hungry at the time. however, this is going to be the first "installment" of probably a few more lunches or another big lunch/dinner in my future. of course, i know she's good for it, so it don't matter when it happens. i just enjoy the experience of dining in ms president's company.
i'm so hyper on caffeine right now, it's KILLING me. HT already tried to calm my ass down earlier with a beer, but then i ran out and got iced coffee again. next, i have to work at the wine store. so basically my liquids today are:
1 large iced coffee
1 thimble of water
1 pint of beer
1 medium iced coffee
several glasses of wine (not consumed yet, but will in a few hours)
wow, roller coaster!
I ate left over Bonnaroo booty. (Bonnarooty?) It was a Starkist Tuna lunch kit that got us through the tough times in the hot TN sun. (Bonnaruna?)
Last day in the office is Monday, then Sunshine hits the road for 5 weeks, comes home for a wedding, house/cat sits, loses his job and searches for gainful employment. Anybody know of somebody looking to pay me do do stuff in the fall?
I'd make some joke about male prostitutes/escorts, but I don't run in those circles. Oh, wait, I do since I met this crowd. Ba-dum bump!
