16 servings of cheap pilsner last night? Attracted to a 6” seafood sandwich you saw being ordered and need someone to talk to? Feel like something pasta-y, but not exactly? This is what terrorizes our nation’s workers every day. It is ever-present, in the back of our minds--riding on the train, up the elevator, in that meeting. But these are simply facets of the one great question. The answer to which must be provided before we can ever grasp contentment. What’s for lunch?

I don't know rodity's. If it were me, I'd probably go with the moussaka.
I'm going Chipotle, and I think I'm doing Chicken Hard Tacos today. Rare choice. Just have a hankerin'.

Jo - Make sure you get the flaming cheese. I love flaming cheese. Otherwise, I think lamb cutlets. Or maybe Spanakotiropita, though that could be too much cheese for you.

csr - check out the Battle of the Tex Mexicans post. Only dipso responded, I've been meaning to get back to it, but I've been swamped with all the hating.
Had to call a lunch audible, for a few reasons. First, I went to get $ and the account was WAY low; made me feel guilty about not brown baggin’ it like I’ve told myself I would. So, I was already thinking about looking for a cheap alternative. But, I really had that hankerin’ for tacos, so I decided that I’d REALLY start saving on lunch tomorrow. But right next to Chipotle is Subway, and their smart advertising reminded me that today (Thursday) is BMT day on the 2.49 value menu. BMT! My favorite! But, I really had that hankerin’ for tacos, so I decided that there’d be many other Thursdays when I’d want to take advantage of their generous special pricing. I walked into Chipotle and the line was LONG. But…hankerin’…so I go to take my place at the end. I’m standing there for a few seconds, trying to at once divert my attention from the excruciating wait before me (it’s amazing how many erotic fantasies you can have involving other Chipotle patrons in just a few seconds) but at the same time trying to concentrate on my chicken taco order and not allow it morph into a veggie fajita burrito or some other monstrosity, when I noticed that the woman in front of me looks familiar. Uh oh! It’s my good friend The Robbie Miller Show’s ex-girlfriend, Paulina, standing with who I can only assume is my good friend The Robbie Miller Show’s ex-girlfriend’s girlfriend (I heard it through the grapevine). Now, it’s not like I’d snub Paulina under other circumstances or anything, or that I have any problem with her new lifestyle (Hate all equally, I say.), but I just couldn’t deal with an awkward 15 minute wait in the Chipotle line – not today – not most days. So I 180’d real quick and booked out of there. Caught a glimpse of some dine-inners enjoying tacos on the way out.
Just polished off my BMT. I guess it was fine.
Braised Lamb with dandelion greens & egg-lemon sauce. And a salad.
