On my way to the NYC.
I can't wait to get one of those "authentic" New York slices from Sbarro.
Have fun talking about whatever.

16 servings of cheap pilsner last night? Attracted to a 6” seafood sandwich you saw being ordered and need someone to talk to? Feel like something pasta-y, but not exactly? This is what terrorizes our nation’s workers every day. It is ever-present, in the back of our minds--riding on the train, up the elevator, in that meeting. But these are simply facets of the one great question. The answer to which must be provided before we can ever grasp contentment. What’s for lunch?

Did I miss something? I don't remember any announcement about Jo going to NYC. Why, Jo, Why?
Boiled a couple eggs. I can't decide whether to just eat them and then some bread, or to put in the time for the egg salad sandwich. I have celery and onion...mayo...I should just do it, right? Okay.
I can't believe it's almost 1pm already...and all I've had today was some coffee and a cigarette. Lazy saturday. That egg salad sounds divine...I often forget about egg salad, but I'm never disappointed when I have it. I think I'll make an omelet today...with spinach and sliced tomatoes and maybe and english muffin.
I'm off to the Gin Mill where I will meet up with Rico [and maybe Peep?] to engage in one of my favorite activities: college basketball and mass quanities of cheap beer. I'm a little afraid I have not laid down a good enough base because all I have eaten is a PB&J on 12 grain bread and an apple, but I suppose we can eat burritos with extra sour cream after the game.
I think I'm dying.
Li'l hung down there, jade? I am.
I watched the game at a friend's house and her new fangled tv system lost its signal just into the second half. Per peep's post, I guess we lost, eh? Oh well. Yep. Confirmed. Just got off the phone with Jake T. Snake. We've decided to become Marquette fans.
Big flank steak and eggs is my project for the day. Oh, this coffee is good. I drink the shit coffee at the office -- comes in those big silver bags. Weekend coffee is such a pleasure for me. Heavenly.
Oh my God. One of the worst hangovers ever. I am sure it started with the fact that all I ate yesterday was that sandwich and apple. There was free beer from 2-3 and after that there was a slew of cute former football playing friends of Rico's with pitchers who never let my cup get half empty. Rico and I also did several shots of Jaeger. I was passed out in my bed by 10:00.
I just ate some fried chicken with hot sauce, french fries and corn on the cob from Jake's in Uptown. It's not anywhere as good as Harold's, but it's withing walking distance. I also drank 2 RC's. I love me some royal crown cola. There is a piece of chocolate cake waiting for me, but I think I need a nap first.
The game was great, by the way. Go Green! Go White!
Peep, why are you on the wagon?
I am so down for trying this feed place. Count me in. I love some good chicken.
Good suggestion, peep. Let's chicago owfl-it! If I don't head for the homeland next weekend, I'd be up for that Fri, Sat or Sun.
I hardly got into my breakfast steak, so we're going to turn it into fajitas for dinner. (After briefly considering roasting a big fat turkey leg.) Unfortunately, that's the only component I have in house. I guess I'm off to the Co-op.
Hung with the bride, james vernor, baby sis, eurotrash, cello, somertime, dancingirl (the last four are ELHS folks jade) and a slew of other old friends last night in NYC. Just got back to DC and I'm gonna try to stay in with the missus and enjoy a nice dinner, a relish tray and some good movies.
eurotrash, who is visiting from London and was in NYC last night is now in DC and will no doubt try to derail my evening plans. He won't succeed.
I think I might know who eurotrash is, but I am clueless on the others. You are going to have to reveal their identities off blog.
