I have no idea. But I'm famished and need some ideas.
This is my last lunch in the office before a week of travel. I think I deserve something special.
Help please.

16 servings of cheap pilsner last night? Attracted to a 6” seafood sandwich you saw being ordered and need someone to talk to? Feel like something pasta-y, but not exactly? This is what terrorizes our nation’s workers every day. It is ever-present, in the back of our minds--riding on the train, up the elevator, in that meeting. But these are simply facets of the one great question. The answer to which must be provided before we can ever grasp contentment. What’s for lunch?

Joe Friday wouldn't eat lunch.
But for something special, make it meaty and greasy and tasty.
I'm going to hit quizno's for something good today. hmmm, toasty bunnnnssss....
I'm thinking burger Jo. In fact, let me know if you want to "meat" up (I'm so freakin' funny).
It's raining and cold - I want something, no ideas though.
how about a black and bleu burger, with bacon, and mayo, and mustard, and carmelized onions, and lettuce, and tomato. shit, i'm hungry
Oh, wow. That sounds awesome watchdog. No idea where I can get that though...
just put it on the list for later Ethics. You can get such a thing at Angles. Which uses real angus beef, their burgers are probably the best kept secret in DC.
Ah, yes watchdog - you make a good point, perhaps for Monday Night Football where I can obtain 2 for 1.
I went with the prosciutto sandwich from downstairs:
"On walnut bread with Prosciutto di Parma,Mascarpone, Gorgonzola, and fig jam."
To be followed with a cheese tasting leftover from an event a certain part time wine store worker attended last night. Chevre and Humboldt Fog await...
Went to a joint in DC's chinatown and had:
hot & sour soup
fried dumplings
General Tso's chicken
delicious.
Burger article.

School Lunch Lady: I would like to say that I for one would be ecstatic to have you gain full blogger privileges, provided you never, ever write about vats of noodles and flavorless mystery meat. Love sonnets to subway are fine, but what you described brings back all of my bad memories about school lunch, rather than my fond ones of tater tots and scooter crunch.
I just got finished with a mid afternoon snack of freshly baked baguette and artisanal cheeses. I've even been gifted some chevre, I just can't forget to come back to the office and pick it up after happy hour.
