Not a smart move!

I think Jack was right and should have let the countdown run out. Now he’s screwed. And an episode with NO Maggie Grace…that ain’t gonna cut it, folks! The whole Sayid thing was done so…wait...hey...this isn’t my LOST blog! Oh, hi everybody!

I got it pretty good today, folks. The rep from our printing company (who happens to be a six-foot blonde with eyes that make Judy Collins’ look like something the dog coughed up) is in town to take me, and only me, out to lunch. On the company. No holds barred. Well, I do have to participate in a teleconference afterward and write report on it, so I should prolly lay off the sauce, but we’re talking appetizer, soup, salad, entrée, dessert…you name it.

This is the place.

I wish I had researched the place more beforehand because the menu’s not really impressing me, but I’ve heard good things. I’m sure I can find something that’ll work for me.

WFL!?!?

Maybe we should make this a LOST-Lunch blog?

Dipso,
corn chowder
"Goodman salad"
Veal meatloaf special

I'm thinking about a cold deli sandwich today. and chowder would go well with that.
hmmn..

Rats! Petterino's can't get us in until 1:15 because of a matinee next door.

Here's the alt. I was going to do exactly what you said, too, Jo.

Someone hit Rico with the funny stick this morning!

Dipso - this menu looks fantastic. I think I'd start with the chicken liver pate, the "Goodman Salad" is a must, and then I think I'd do the Veal Meatloaf or the Prime Club Steak.

I'm off the fast! Yet, here I sit, no food in my tummy with nothing but a raspberry seltzer in my future. I need to be careful of my now sensitive system today, but I'm also dealing with another busy day. I fear I'll be skipping lunch again.

And yes, they should have let the clock run down. I think this show is going to end up pissing me off. I knew there was a reason I didn't really get into to it last year; those people fucking annoy me.

Atwood eh...

I think you go with the Salmon for the main course but I am conflicted on a starter.
I would say the shrimp cakes but I try to avoid seafood on seafood.

Corn and scallion waffles and the mussels. Though, the pistachio crusted goat cheese salad looks good to me, as well.

But there's no way I could pass up those "waffles".

Shrimp cakes and Salmon. Both very good. White chocolate and banana bread pudding with banana caramel (I don't really know what the banana caramel was.)

First day back on the solid food, and I chose poorly. I was in a rush, and opted for the Chicken Salsa Wrap at ABP. It's not bad or anything, just not especially satisfying. I was afraid of this happening b/c it's been so long since I ate, I knew I'd get confused and do the wrong thing. Oh, well. Austin tomorrow. I'll do better in Texas.

Hey ethics I must have just missed you at ABP!

I got the mediterranean wrap with chicken, gazpacho, chocalate chip mini cookies and a Nantucket Nectars half & half.

mmm mmm good.

spoilsport I know you're new, but you need to tell us what you're eating.

Jo - were you at *My* ABP on Penn?

I just noticed there are cookies in our kitchen. I do not know from whence they came. However, they appear to be from ABP. I had a white chocolate covered macaroon.

Ethics,
I went to the ABP at L and Conn.
I don't travel south of K unless it's a special occasion.
