16 servings of cheap pilsner last night? Attracted to a 6” seafood sandwich you saw being ordered and need someone to talk to? Feel like something pasta-y, but not exactly? This is what terrorizes our nation’s workers every day. It is ever-present, in the back of our minds--riding on the train, up the elevator, in that meeting. But these are simply facets of the one great question. The answer to which must be provided before we can ever grasp contentment. What’s for lunch?

Wow. It's late peeps. Are the Chicago people & Chicago visitors all dead from the weekend?
I'm having a sandwich made from the leftovers of the muffalatta I made this weekend. Sadly, I used up all the olive salad & soprassata, but there's capicola in there & a splash of my homemade, dad's recipe salad dressing. And FYI - I make a mean-ass muffalatta. I must be part N'awlins. My grandparents did live there for several years in the '70s.
I went to bed last night and there were three people in my bed. I woke up alone. I feel used.
Has anyone else had any problems with the blog today...I tried to post earlier but I got an error message and my entire message got erased..:(
Anyways...sounds as if the chicago party got it on and did it up right! Anyone have any incriminating pics???!!
LT - that sandwich sounds great!! I recommend that you post the recipe to your muffalatta on the new recipe portion of the blog! Or you could just make some to be featured at the next BB happy hour!! ;)
My lunch was boring salad and a veggie sandwich. I have to cleanse my system from yesterday's brunch buffet at Madhatters...eggs, bacon, sausage, corned beef hash, hashbrowns, chipped beef on toast, roast beef and the best belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream of course! Did I mention the complimentary, unlimited mimosas??!! I had about eight too many...totally killed my sunday afternoon...
yffup sleef dipso
Potbelly's roast beast - heavy mayo and heavy hot peppers. I relearned that when you do heavy hot peppers it's important to say request no oil. They should know that though. Is that not common sense?
wow a whopping 4 comments today? sad folks...i guess my post didn't inspire like i had hoped.
i may win for least comments in one day. a new record.
arrrrgggggghhhhhhhh!
