Number 55 out of 23,300,000!

Go ahead, google it for yourself. The Original What’s For Lunch comes up near the tippy top of the second page of search results for “What’s For Lunch” (no quotes – slightly higher (51 - last entry on the page) if quotes are used.)

This is pretty exciting, guys. Congratulations and keep up the good lunching. Never has “WE’RE 55!!” sounded so good.

I'm going to take this moment to share what I'm eating, mainly for the benefit of The Jade, since I know she won't approve.

Fat free ricotta cheese, with some splenda, lemon zest, and a splash of lemon juice. It's beyond yummy! I considered putting an egg in and baking it, but I'm too lazy.

I'd like to point out that I just tried to click the links and see us again - AND WE'RE GONE!!!!

For once you may be onto something with your conspiracy theories!

Larry Page went to Michigan, but he went to high school at EL at the same time as Jo and I.

You know Jo, you weren't the only person to be a member of an ELHS state championship team that year. I was a member of the debate team, and we were the champions, too!

Oh I'm sorry Jade. How could I have forgotten that...

I mean that really...congratulations...

Debating is cool, Jo's just jealous.

I wish we had debate in HS. I used to participate in the amateur debates that happened after the challenges, weekly at Trinity, when I lived in Dublin. Debating there includes booze. It was a lot of fun. Sometimes I miss Dublin. A Lot.

Jade was Mr. Bennett the debate coach? I loved his communications class. can't remember doing much, but it was fun.

Debate and Football should have had a joint pep rally.

Were you on quizbusters too? Hosted by Matt Ottinger?

WFL?
Now that we're done with the college bluster, I'm totally stuck with the turkey sand and chips today. However, due to the wonders of Sam Walton I bought 24 Red Bulls for $24 this weekend. So since I've recently brightened the smile I went ahead and replaced my coffee addiction with a brand new spanking Red Bull addiction (so I have two in the lunch sack).

WFL?

Mr. Bennett was not the coach, but I think you and I were both in his contemporary history class together. Why do I remember things like that? My senior year, the year of our state championship win, the coach was Will Repko. Before that it was Charles Barr, Superstar. He was a stud, but the most worthless coach ever. I was not on quizbusters, but our esteemed friend and one of my debate colleagues, Sponge, was on quizbusters. I so wanted to be on that show.

No, this is not today's thread. Go back to the main page and hit refresh.

Jade, I actually meant Mr. Barr. I loved Mr. Bennett's contemporary history class. You have a great memory.
