Josephus blogs from Scottsdale, Arizona this morning. Rough night last night to be followed up by tailgating with friends in preparation for the alma mater's big bowl game this afternoon. Rico Tubbs is in attendance. We are currently firing up Buzzard's (our host) gas grill to have some breakfast steaks that have been marinating for 24 hours. Got in at 3:00 last night (mountain time) and had some of "one day will be Mrs. Buzzard"'s chili. Delicious.
Lunch will consist of assorted tailgate food. I am very tired, but still feel a bit like a kid on Christmas morning. I also have the strange feeling that this will read like a teletype from the front during World War 2. Stop.
Anyway, Happy belated New Year to you all and I look forward to resuming full-time blogging when I get back to work on Wednesday.
Go Irish.
And of course ...

What the hell happened here? Where was everyone today?
I slept until 5pm. No lunch. Leftover brunch from yesterday for dinner.
I hope this heretofore unseen lack of commenting is not indicative of the year to come, but rather is the symptom of WFLers being off for one last day before a return to the grind!
yeah, sorry, i'm not responding at 11:52 PM, so at least it's still technically monday. i was enjoying my day off, and will enjoy my day off tomorrow...boo yah! anyway, i will try to comment tomorrow too. and i'm sure more people will be commenting once they drag their sorry holiday asses into the office. ho hum, back to the old grind.
