Trying Something New

Remember the other day I said I had pictures for the blog documenting the mystical rabbit in that courtyard on 51st? And I had planned to detail the saga of attempting to go to one place following the initial meeting near the rabbit, only to discover it had burned? Well, here is my first attempt at blogging my phone pics... Let's see how this goes.

After meeting at the rabbit, we proceeded to try to go to a fine Irish establishment called Connolly's. As we approached the building, my lunchtime companion noted that it looked as though it had burned. (this was after we tried two places with ridiculous lines) In fact, it had, as noted here.

Hey, looky how cool. Wow. We're becoming a real blog. Now if I could only figure out how to put links within the comments....

Alright, this is a little better, post editing. I need to pay my verizon bill so I can play with this at home tonight. Since that requires Verizon's fine DSL service, which they so greedily expect me to pay for, I should probably send them a check or something.

Anyway, La Choi, you can refer to the "Something in the Air" post and comments of last Friday for an explanation of the rabbit. This photo stuff is neat-o. I've heard I can blog from my mobile, too. Just wait. I'll take over the world with that capability!

Because I think it makes me feel good.

FYI - for those of you who may have reservations, the sandwich artist didn't even blink at the request. There was also giardinera.

Where was this fascinating sub procured? Subway? Do they have that giardia stuff at Subway?

Yes, I know it's not "giardia" but I like how similar Giardiniera is to Giardia and one is those hot pickled peppers and the other is a bacterial disease.

can i just say that i HATE subway? yes, it's true. something about the way their bread smells makes me want to vomit. don't you find it odd that every single subway on this planet has that same smell? it grosses me out to no end.
