16 servings of cheap pilsner last night? Attracted to a 6” seafood sandwich you saw being ordered and need someone to talk to? Feel like something pasta-y, but not exactly? This is what terrorizes our nation’s workers every day. It is ever-present, in the back of our minds--riding on the train, up the elevator, in that meeting. But these are simply facets of the one great question. The answer to which must be provided before we can ever grasp contentment. What’s for lunch?

I'm getting a salad at my favorite salad bar. I'll give the details after I've made it. There will be cheese involved.
What are you having Dipso?
I know, generally, but could use some help on the specifics. I'll be collection my spoils from baja fresh today. I plan on going with their new carnitas option in a burrito, and I believe I will get it "enchilado-style." So, do I go with the ultimo, the baja, or the mexicano?
Let's vote!
collecting - dammit!
Dipso hate typos!
Dipso, you gotta go with the Ultimo. How could you not?
I think these are the salad days for me. Yesterday I hit one of those gourmet buffets with lots of good chinese stuff. I always overload at those places cuz there is so much good shit.
which buffet, dog? you're in chi-digs, right?
Nah, i'm in DC yo. But you know the kind of buffet i'm talking about right? Maybe even some california roll action, wontons. All top notch grade-A buffet style.
Thanks for the recommendation, Rico. Will definitely put that on the list of places to get to.
I must, however, respectfully disagree with your grilled onion opinion. I want to know if the default condition of the onions is "grilled." I believe that the more widely accepted standard is raw, which is my preference usually. I have no problem with grilled, and really like it sometimes, but I think fat willy's practice is presumptuous and rude, as when a student teaches his teacher.
"grilled" is definitely the preferred way for my onions.
My trip to the salad bar yielded:
some garden salad greens in a greek like dressing, tarragon chicken salad, grilled honey chicken salad, portobellos in mango sauce, watercress in a sesame deal and some job chae (glass noodles).
I was simply talking burger. Unless it's a patty melt, I like a slice of raw on my burger. Has everybody here seen Josephus eat, or try to eat, one of his grilled onion, heavy mayo, uber-condimented monstrocities. He takes the first bite and half of the sandwich's contents are on his hands or his plate -- if he's lucky. What's up with that?
The polls have closed. It’s Ultimo in a landslide!
God bless 'merica!
When it comes to burger toppings I always err on the side of "too much". I am proud of that.
I have eaten the bbq from Fat Willy's. Very tasty. I have never eaten their burger though.
Speaking of burgers, I was told during my west coast swing that In n Out burgers were suburban and that LA's best was from Fatburger. I have yet to try it. Does anyone have any insight on this?
Ethics?
CRISIS!!!!!
Was just reminded that boss is taking our team to lunch at Bertucci's for a team member's birthday!!!!!
What's left of my salad is going into the fridge.
Damn your eyes Bertucci!!!
Check out this ridiculous burger I concocted at home the other day, on my very own grill.
Burger
Grilled portabello (covered the whole burger)
bacon
chedder jack cheese (melted)
avocado (sliced)
lettuce
tomatoe
onion
mayo
mustard
now how's that for too many toppings. Yes, much of it ended up on my hands and plate, but even that goop was awesome. Next time i'm going to add green olives
No ketchup watchdog?
